Googles (FIND AND LINK) says on their site that they do not list mirrors. THey also mention that they do not index pages that are similar in content. Then why is it that a search for java upload sees three different entries that refer to jftp in the first page?

To be fair by them the authors of JFTP are not the culprits here. It's CNETS download.com - which according to a recent sourceforge mailing seems to be losing the traffic wars of late. So may be they are trying to fill up the engines with duplicate entries in the hope of getting more visits.
