MIDP 1.0 To MIDP 2.0April 20, 2004Have a problem on my hands, i have two phones with MIDP 1.0 in them, being searching for hours trying to figure out if there is a way to upgrade the MIDP version to 2.0 since that is so much neater and includes so much more features (like the MMAPI for example). So far all my searching has come to nought, precious little information is available on firmware upgrades so i guess it's pretty reasonable that there's almost noting on upgrading the VM. Writing J2ME programs when you only got MIDP 1.0 on your phone is dead boring. If I find a way to solve this I will make a follow up post.
