J2ME and the 6600May 16, 2004Recently I had a run in with the Nokia 6600. This phone is no longer new but it's still a very interesting phone indeed because it supports MIDP 2.0 and the MMAPI not to mentioned the bluetooth for java API. Developing MIDlets on this phone turned out to be quite a challenge though. Obviously on such a sexy phone you don't want to limit yourself to the MIDP 1.0 spec but the MIDP 2.0 implementation on this phone leaves much to be desired.
