A few days ago I decided to give phpadsnew a go. Primarily because revenue from google adsense does not seem to grow in proportion to the growth in number of page views. Some of the ads don't seem relevent at all.

Phpadsnew however definitely is not what I want to use. The main gripe is with the manual, PDF manuals are always more boring to read than HTML manuals and this one is way too detailed on areas that do not matter much but does not contain a lot of details on the areas that do matter.

The admin interface is also a bit cumbersome to use. The manual does say that advertisers can manage their own campaigns but it does not appear to go beyond monitoring the statistics of ad delivery.

So the conclusion is that phpadsnew is not the right system for use on this site.
