Google has often been a favourite whipping boy for privacy advocates. It’s refreshing to see google moving in the right direction to stop these critics.
I tried out the recently released official google toolbar for firefox. (An unofficial tool bar has long been available). It is available in the form of an extension and you need to restart the browser once the extension is installed.
On restarting I was pleasently suprised to see this:
