Still on the topic of important software releases; Wordpress 2.0 came and went and I missed it. Finaly had a chance to download and try out wordpress 2.01. Just like the previous version wordpress 2.01 is really a piece of cake to install. It really does take only five minutes, and it really is time to say bye bye to movabletype and go for wordpress to power this blog.

Visited mozilla.org (cause I can't remember the name of the new firefox site), there I found a product called seamonkey. Curiosity aroused by the unique name, I immidiately downloaded installed it. First reaction is a double take. is that Netscape with a logo change? it probably is. Since netscape 8 is not available for linux (yeah dumb), this certainly does look like a good move.

In the midst of all this I had to download and install the latest version of Proguard as well. More on that later.
