This is the first new release of Rad Image Viewer after january 2003. It includes several improvements.

When the image was larger than the view area part of the image would be hidden. This issue has been fixed.

The cursor changes to a wait cursor when changing between images, so that you no longer have to wonder if the app has crashed.

Added a a fit image to window option.

Next and previous buttons, which were not functional in the previous version have been enabled.

File formats:
The previous release was made three years ago when java 1.4 was the norm. Now java 5 provides support for the display of BMP files and as a result Rad Image Viewer has automatically aquired the ability to display bitmaps. If the jrawio library is present in the classpath, Rad Image Viewer will display Nikon raw format files.
