Using Netbeans 6October 29, 2007'Target "profile" does not exist in the project' I kept getting that message when attempting a profile a project of mine using netbeans settings. I juggled around with the settings but nothing would make the IDE profile this project. In frustration I deleted all the project files and created a fresh project from the sources. (File -> New Project -> Java -> New project with existing sources). Finally I was able to run a profile on it. That was two days ago. I am in trouble once again. ![]() I cleaned up my desktop and in the process deleted, moved or renamed a few folders. Unfortunatley the project folder was also renamed in the process and Netbeans just refuses to compile the project again. Still worse, it doesn't even show me the source tree anymore. In previous version, you can manually edit the .properties files in the nbproject/ folder to manually add new source paths and change the destination paths. Sadly the same thing doesn't seem to work with Netbeans 6. /home/raditha/jbproject/rup4/nbproject/build-impl.xml:115: Must set src.dir BUILD FAILED (total time: 0 seconds) So for the second time all the build files were deleted and a new project was created.
