Network Neutrality? what on earth is that? I didn't even know such a thing existed until a few minutes ago, when I encountered the term in the Adwords blog

The wikipedia defnition is rather confusing but it the lobbists say it could take away your freedom of choice. It's touching to see that Google cares. The fact that the issue concerns US users rather than Chinese users probably has something to do with it.

It's said that ISPs in the US may soon be able to choose the content that a subscriber sees. The lobbyist are concerned about the rights of the end users and the small businesses in the US. However it's likely to be small online businesses outside the US that suffers the most.

Consumers from the US still account for a large slice of the online transaction pie. If small businesses in the US will find it difficult to get their products and services infront of online consumers, small business owners in Asia will find it nearly impossible. This bill if it's passed into law might even lead to a global recession!!
