            <p>That result from an inovation for uptime ladies and gentles shows that this computer was runing continously for 6 days and 15 hours without being restarted. Say what? well this is not a server. This is a desktop computer. Don't forget that I install new software on my linux machine on an almost daily basis.</p>
            <p>Would you be able to keep a computer running for even day without a reboot if it was based on windows? it seems whenever you install even the most trivial software, windows screams out to be restarted.</p>
            <p>So why was the machine shut down? I had to go to <a href="http://www.webquarry.com/~raditha/srilanka/travel/galle.html">Galle</a> to look into the well being of one of my aunts and here family effected by the <a href="https://www.raditha.com/~raditha/blog/archives/000586.html">boxing day tsunami</a>.</p>
