Two months to get a Toshiba Laptop fixed

Remember how I blogged about taking my toasted Toshiba laptop to the agents for repair about two months back? You would be pretty sure that I have got it back by now. Think again. It's still with them, and virtually untouched. This was the response that I recieved when I inquired on the 30th of may.

Please note that above mentioned parts are still in backorder & we are closely  following up with our counterparts in Spore and will update you as soon as we received the firm Expected Time for Arrival date.

Ok fine, somethings do take a bit of time don't they?  Let's give them a couple more weeks, and this is the response to my inquiry on the 12th of June.

On the 26th of June I wrote to them again and asked them not to send me a cut and paste reply. And to their credit, someone called me instead. The answer was pretty much a recitation of the above paragraph, but she did promise to give me a firm date 'soon' for when they expect to receive the parts. I am still waiting for that email.
