Is SATA II really any better than an IDE Drive

I have always believed that whether a computer is fast or slow depends primarily on how much RAM you have and how fast your hard drive is. Processing power is secondary. Of course that does not apply if you are heavily into number crunching or a hard code gamer. Even a gamer might find that having a faster GPU is much better than having a faster CPU.

I have often wondered if SATA II is really any better than SATA I or even IDE drives. So I did a comparision test to find out. It took just minutes really. The conclusion is that they are all pretty much the same.
