New year starts with a broken lens

My new year starts off with a broken Sigma lens. This venerable old 300mm was attached all this time to an even older FM 10. The FM 10 was a present from my father during the time I was at Colombo university.

The Old Minolta SLR (I can't remember the model) that used to be the family camera at the time had a breakdown just as I was about to go with the university chess team to Malaysia. I ended up with out any photos at all of that trip. A few weeks after that my father bought me a Nikon FM10. At the time it was a good value for money SLR and heck it's a Nikon.
